Greetings and thank you for visiting our Classroom Webpage!
Hi! My name is Ms. Garcia and I am very excited to be your child’s Middle School ELA teacher this school year. I have twenty years of classroom experience and I just completed my eleventh year at St. Odilia as the 1st and 2nd grade ELA teacher. Prior to this, I taught Middle School for nine years.
I received my B.A. in History from California State University of Los Angeles and my M.A. in Child/Adolescent Literacy from Loyola Marymount University.
As your child’s teacher I pledge to offer a challenging and stimulating curriculum that will help your child succeed in ELA. I strongly believe that by all of us working together we can make this a very successful school year.
Sincerely, Ms. Garcia 8th Grade Homeroom Teacher 6th-8th ELA Teacher
